I feel most at home photographing people whether its weddings, a fashion shoot or portfolio work.

The photographs featured are a combination of work commisioned by brides, clients, models and some of my own ideas.

It's the interaction with people that enables me to bring out the best. I try to create a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere particularly useful for putting nervous brides (and grooms) at their ease. I also understand that for weddings, listening to the couple's ideas is very important.

A favourite part is the reaction I get when the couple see their wedding album for the first time or a client who sees their photographs - nothing beats that feling of satisfaction.

Recently the No.1 magazine quoted "At only 27 years of age Richard Craig is already one of the best upcoming photographers in Scotland." This was amazing and a tribute to all those who have supported and helped me up till now.

Good fortune has led me to been involved in several international events, such as Miss Earth and Miss Universe as well as establishing contacts with big household names including fashion designer James Lakeland and jeweler Eric N Smith.
