About Wedding Photography
Contemporary Wedding photography for your special day
To choose a wedding photographer that will be sensitive to your day and provide lasting images is a big decision. I aim to create a record to capture the moods and memories, the laughter and joy.
I feel it’s important that you and your guests are relaxed so my aim is to be unobtrusive to capture the candid moments whilst also recording the formal groups.
Planning the day
The planning will begin with us meeting to enable me to understand your wishes and to discuss the style. From a formal style through to reportage and informal moments provide a range of opportunities and the style has to be totally comfortable for you.
My objective is to capture everything from the groom, best man and bridesmaids to get some shots of the last minute jitters & excitement, the guests and you arriving at the ceremony, the cake cutting at the reception through to your wedding breakfast, through to the beginning of the dancing.
The finished article
The presentation of the proofs in a wedding box and the albums are of a standard that is, like the photography, of the highest level. I have a variety of sizes and styles in all our albums, including reportage, classic and contemporary. Each one will be created to your own taste and individuality.
For weddings I do a pre-wedding shoot to help the bride and groom warm to me and vice versa as well as helping them get used to the camera. I also help you shape the day itself, ensuring that it goes exactly how they want it to.
I understand that listening to the couple’s ideas is vital. “Getting my head around the type of day you wish enables me to understand the kind of images you would like to look back on. The photographs, whether they are traditional, reportage, romantic or a mixture, should bring back memories of the day.”
